One thing I really like about summer is all the old vehicles come out of storage. As I am driving my wife's Dodge Caravan around looking for something to shoot, I enjoy passing the 1950-something Ford thing-a-ma-jig. Sometimes I will tell Sonia what it is - as if I really have a clue. Mostly it's 'NOICE!!"
Today, there was a 1940-something whatchamacallit that drove past me. I dropped my shutter speed to 1/20th of a sec and panned and fired. Bringing the photo into Lightroom and setting it to black and white really helps show the age of the car. I also added some noise to simulate grain and vignetting as well - just a tad...
