Project 365 - Day 132 - Rainbow

Today I went to the Columbia Icefields.  The drive is about 2 hours from Banff.  It is really worth the drive.

Just outside of the Icefields I saw this scene. The scene on its own is breathtaking, but the rainbow adds to the shot.  The rainbow is created by snow powder that is blowing off the mountains and falling down.  It's pretty cool when you are walking around in what seems like rain, but is actually melted snow that has come off the peaks.

24-70mm lens at 26mm.  ISO400,1/2500s shutter and f/5.6
