Project 365 - Day 142 - Water Droplets

This is a shot of a hosta leaf.  The hosta is in the front garden at my house.  It was after the rain today, and the way that the water is just sitting on the leaf, and the rest of the leaf is dry, really intrigued me.

The trouble with this type of shot is the movement of the leaf itself.  I handheld the camera, which made things much worse.  The leaf was moving ever-so-gently in the breeze so it was very tough to shoot.

I had my camera on rapid fire and got some very useful shots ... :-)

Shot with my 24-70mm at 70mm.  ISO400 and 1/50s shutter at f/5.
