I wanted to shoot Christmas lights tonight, so I took it upon myself to turn mine on. I don't take the lights down in the summer - first of all they are white and second they are hidden by the trees at the front of the lot. They are C5 incandescent bulbs, glass, so they do break and burn out, and I end up having to replace 5-6 of them each fall season.
When I turned the lights on, only 3 were blown this time. So not too bad. When I took my shot, you could see two of the blown ones, and by see I mean there was a light missing in the row. Thank heavens for the clone tool ... :-)
It's beginning to look a lot like Christmas ....
