After shooting sunrise and sunsets in Tahiti, it was a change to be shooting the sunset in Oakville again. Not necessarily a nice change - yes, I am happy to be home, but I could have stayed in Tahiti for a lot longer. I am sure I would eventually get homesick - missing family and friends - but that would take a long, long time. And besides, I wouldn't really miss this bitter cold we've been having.
The sun sets at 4:30 these days, so I have to get out and shoot on my way home. Sometimes I have to shoot when the conditions are not all that ideal - but I have made this commitment to shoot every day all year, so that's what I have to do.
